While the hotel has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the facilities and the limited space in the rooms. The amenities themselves were decent, but some aspects need improvement, particularly concerning maintenance and noise levels from the playground nearby. Overall, it’s a good place to relax, but not without its flaws.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean, but quite small and cramped. It was a bit awkward drying off in the bathroom due to the layout, and there were some leaks around the shower area.
Service
9.0
The staff were very attentive and went out of their way to resolve issues, which I really appreciated. They handled our maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.
Location
7.0
The location was very quiet and comfortable, but being right next to the playground meant noisy mornings. It’s a beautiful area, though, which made me want to explore.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent, with a good variety, but I found the prices a bit steep, especially for room service.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were generally good, including the pool; however, I wish the maintenance could be a consistent focus.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The check-in process was quick, and staff were helpful, even arranging a breakfast box for our early starts. The room was generally quiet and well-appointed, but I encountered some issues such as noisy neighbors. Unfortunately, the breakfast let me down a bit. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there was certainly room for improvement in certain areas.

Rooms
6.0
The room was functional but not particularly comfortable. It had a large spa bath and a king-size bed, but unfortunately, the noise from neighboring guests woke me up early. There was nothing in the fridge except for two long-life milks, which was disappointing.
Service
7.0
The service was mostly good. The staff offered to grab us a plate of baked beans just for us, which felt welcoming. They were attentive during meals, but the experience could improve with more coordination during busy times.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located just out of town, which made it a bit quieter, though it can be susceptible to flooding, as I noticed had happened previously. It was still a nice area to explore before sunset.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was overall quite good. We enjoyed a three-course meal at a wedding which was brilliantly prepared and presented. However, I was disappointed with breakfast, as the sourdough was hard and the bacon cold.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had reasonable facilities, but nothing stood out as exceptional. The parking was good, and Wi-Fi was sufficient for our needs.

8.4/10

The hotel served as a great base for exploring the beautiful Hawkesbury area, filled with art and natural beauty. Our room was lovely and modern, although the cleanliness of the hotel could use improvement. While the kids had a fantastic time enjoying the pool and playground, the overall upkeep of common areas fell short of expectations. The breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, which made our mornings pleasant.

I had a lovely time during my stay, enjoying a peaceful atmosphere and great service. The rooms need some updates, but they were clean and tidy. The dining options were delightful, especially the service at the bar. However, the location was slightly tricky with some access issues, and the property could use a bit more modernization in certain areas.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the staff overall were kind and welcoming, which made the experience a bit more pleasant. However, the room I got was outdated and not what I expected for the price I paid. The amenities and dining options could use improvement, particularly in quality and availability. Overall, it felt like a place that relied more on its reputation than delivering great value.
